Well, believe it or not I probably won't do any fishing!  :o

Sandy has a conference to go to and since my excursions may be limited I'm actually planning to play tennis the whole time!  8) At 7,000+ feet, ya'll are more than welcome to come and get out on a court with me!  ;) ;) ;) We'll need someone to cart off the bodies!  ;D

So, I was actually running into the size and baggage issue with my rackets, etc... rather than a rod. But now that I'm going to have to check a big bag no matter what I may just bring a rod and gear as well and see what happens!  ;)

Jeff, If I tried to play tennis you are right about cartin off my body, aint no way I could play in my condition,,, :o ;D

Well NJW and I hope y'all have a great and safe trip, but there is now way I could go without fly fishin atleast one day,,, ::)  maybe two 8).

Well - I'm back in the Boro!  ;D

Quite the week, had weather that was too perfect - lots of sun and record highs of around, ahem... 80!

Saw some nice water in the Rio Grande as we drove by on the way to Taos Pueblo - that was interesting. Ate too damn much, but at 7,000+ feet you really don't feel that hungry. Didn't sleep worth a damn either, altitude has a lot to do with that, though I don't remember that being a problem when I was 17 and 25!  ;)

Hit quite a few tennis balls, actually just enough to really feel the altitude. Never got that kind of a work out, that high up!

More later - gotta get several things done real quick, but it's nice to be back at the home waters!

Generally, though - a really nice trip!  8) 8) 8)

Jeff, please stick with your fishing hat. I totally agree with Jack on this one. Neither hat works at all. However, thanks for the good laugh I got seeing those pictures.

Ok. I guess that big brim will be good to fend off the sun. Glad to hear the festival will be there this Saturday. Maybe the grandson will go there instead of fishing. Yeah right!!! Guess we will see you there Jeff. Wish you and patti could make it Jack. Maybe next time. Hopefully I can convince Kitty to go fishing more often this year.

Faint and fall out, it looks like we are spending the night Saturday. That means I get to fish two days. OMG!! Hope I have the right flies in my boxes. Been tying something I dreamed up. Might scare all the fish out of the river. Ya never know. Ok, see yall on the water.
