Crawdaddy's - in the Port
« on: March 02, 2015, 04:20:00 PM »
We went to Crawdaddy's again for Sandy's birthday. We hadn't been in a while and if you're on their "list" they'll give you discounts for Birthdays and Anniversaries!  8) So we had to take advantage of that...  ::)

Crawdaddy's is still, without a doubt, the best real Cajun food around here and maybe fro a really long way!

We split the seafood platter - cole slaw, tomato relish, hush puppies, oysters, fish, crawfish, shrimp, stuffed shrimp and stuffed crab! Oh my God!

And then really splurged and got bread pudding...

Get their jambalaya pistolettes or crawfish cornbread or better yet, the crawfish cornbread smothered in etoufee! Jeeezzz!

It's a good thing we only go three maybe four times a year!

Mansfield Rd, a few block south of Bert Kouns. Ya'll gotta hit it!

Well, Kitty and I thought we might take Jeff's advice and eat at Crawdaddy's  last night. Kitty ordered the 6 fried oysters and I got the 6 fried frog legs.  Kitty said she took 6 bites to eat one oyster. Yep, they were that big. Biggest oysters I have ever seen.  My frogs legs were huge. They were also very good. Great place to eat.
