Beaver Tailwater

Since Sandy and I are going to Eureka for our Honeymoon what can anyone tell us about the Beaver Tailwater.

We'll be staying just a few miles from the dam after all, and I guess we'll just have to take a couple of rods... Cool

jeff, i have only been there once and it was without a guide, but the guys at the flyshop in fayetteville, which is closed now, told me to go down at the end of the camping area and it is a pretty steep walk down to the river but the guide was coming up from there with a few guys that had been fishing down there, the river is pretty wide but looked very nice, and the area up around the dam was full of all kind of people fishing and families having a good time, i didnt fish it, i was just scouting for the next time i went up there.
