What a trip!!!!  almost no generation on the Norfork for the 4 days I was there. GREAT fly fishing conditions.  Caught fish on everything.  White micro jigs, sow bugs, my N-squared, longcreek, etc. etc.  The water conditions were very clear on the Norfork,  but there was a lot of alge on the White at times.  Boat drift fishing was great on the White, most generators running at any one time was two, and lots of time none, and wade fishing was to die for all over the Norfork.  We had to pull the boat back up the shoals just below Rose trout dock just to get back in the Norfork. (let the river catch us too far down stream!!!)  Caught lots of fish and lots of Brown's---We just hit it right!!!    Hen

Awesome! Especially considering the spring conditions up there the last three or four years! 

Having that much low water on either of those streams is just unheard of! Spoiled much, are you? 

We expect pictures, of course. Until then no one will believe you anyway...

Lance, FYI, both times I crossed the Red at the bridge, going up and coming back,  it was just like the Norfork---no generation going on--pack accordingly--hope you have a great trip.  My only Grand Slam ever was on the Lil' Red.      Hen

Thanks, Hen.  The pattern appears to have good.  I think/hope we will get some good water both days.
