I am having trouble pinching down the barbs on some scud hooks. These are micro barbs on a JStockard heavy hooks. About the only thing I can think of, besides not buying them again, is to try and file off the barb. They will pinch a little but I am not sure they would pass an inspection from a warden. Is there a better tool to use besides the flat pliers that I am using? If I am spinning my wheels on these hooks then anyone want some size 14 scud hooks. LOL
