Generation July 29-August 4
Generation July 29-August 4
Oh wow! Looks like some fishing time Wednesday, Thursday, Friday am. Don't remember weekend. I will still call before driving up there. John D

They must be feeling pretty ambitious about getting water off the lake! I'd definitely have to see it before I believe it, as yet. But it's conceivable!
Just keep an eye on it through the weekend...

They are indeed dropping about a foot every twenty-four hours!
If they keep that pace up, we just might have normal conditions by mid week!

Re: Generation July 29-August 4
Monday the 29th!
Lake was at 550.38' at 9:00 this morning. Still scheduled to run non stop through midnight Tuesday. That should get it very close to 548' by then and I suspect they'll be happy. They've been hoofin' water off as fast as I've ever seen it!!!
Schedule for the rest if the week is crank up everyday at 11:00 AM, however. Doesn't leave a whole lot of time for a good trip unless you're already close. Maybe next week's schedule will give us some more hours of low water...

Looks like they backed off on the flows late this morning... Appears to be settling at normal three generator levels.

What!?! Just looked at Swepco generation schedule and looks like they have updated generation to 24/7 till Saturday. John D
Re: Generation July 29-August 4
Afraid so, John!
I suspect, as usual, they want to get the lake, just a little below flood. Understandable since we're about to go into peak tropical season.
Schedule shows round the clock until overnight Friday, then cranking back up at 11:00 Saturday and Sunday...
