Title: 24 January 2025 “River still to high to fish”
Post by: HEN on Jan 24, 2025, 09:06 AM
Yesterday with the lake at 537.50 the Corp cut the flow by about half. It's still too high to fish. I wish they would keep running a full river, cut the flow to 7% as before or stop completely. Any one of those is better than what they are doing now!! However the Corp has never asked my opinion?🤣🤣🤔. I've heard rumors that they are looking for a 534.00 level, hope they don't try to get it running at this flow, it will take forever. I'll keep you posted if something changes.

Fish did get stocked twice this month but I'll bet one of those stockings were Ouachita catch pen fish which would be 8 to 10 inch fish!!

Mike, any word on Albert Pike in regards to stocking?  Haven't seen any reports of anyone fishing it. Thanks again for your reports, they're very helpful.

Look at Mike's January 15 report. He was told that they had stocked at AP at that time. Since then, who knows.
