At 8:00am this morning the Corp closed the bunger valve completely. The river is wadeable. There is activity at the swimming area at Sawaha. Think they are starting work on the dam🤔.
OK, here's the deal. I'm in a no win situation with y'all on notifications on the bunger valve. If I post when they stop bungering and you drive up 2 hours later and they have started the bunger you're mad at me!! If I don't post and you drive up and they are not bungering, your pissed at me for not notifying you earlier. It's gonna be a crapshoot for a while. Would you rather I didn't notify you at all or keep telling you what I know AT THAT SECOND, and let you take your chances????
I see no sign of any recent stocking but I did catch a few nice healthy fish this morning after they stopped bungering.
MIKE, how in the world could anyone with any knowledge at all of the history of generation cycles on the Little Mo be upset as you mention. I, for one who only gets to the river once or twice a year, appreciate your reports. I enjoy reading and seeing what's going on even though I can't be there. Please don't let a few spoil what so many of us like to see. Just keep on keeping on my friend.
I give a robust second to what Gordob posted. Mike, your reports are much appreciated and all should know you cannot predict the future----especially when COE is involved. Please don't stop.
