31 October 2025. “Trick or treat?”

They haven't generated in 4 days now so the trout are still running in a pack, find the pack and catch fish, if not, it's really slow fishing. There weren't many fish stocked, but be thankful for what we got!!  No fish were stocked at Low Water bridge or at Old Factory site. Some of the ones we got are nice 13 inch dark colored fish, ones Jeff use to call Eagle Lake trout. Millissa use to tell we what she sent but she's retired, think she would say these were Erwin Arlee or Shasta trout, maybe Fish Lake?

The water temperature at the park is 62 degrees, at RiverRidge it's 56 and at Hinds Bluff it's 54 degrees. I know that's weird but the water coming from the dam is not as cold as usual. Sure it has to do with the lake turning over and the low water level.  Water clarity is good. The bottom is fair clean past River Ridge but still really nasty from the park thru Sycamore Run. It was 36 degrees air temperature on the river this morning, that helps the downstream water temps a bunch.

As soon as they run a little water the few fish we have will get scattered, then the fishing will get really tough!!  Remember, if you will take out just one more piece of trash than you bring in, we will never have a trashy river.
