At 8:30 am on 30 December (just 10 minutes ago) the Corp fully opened the bunger valve! The river is not wadeable for fishing!  The lake is currently at 548.88, into flood pool, and Langley is at 4.82 which for me is also not fishable. This MAY be the big pull down so work can begin on the generator trash racks, time will tell. As I sit here watching, the river keeps getting higher and higher!!😬😬. Hope they don't over do it!!!😬😬.

The fishing was really good the past few weeks. Hope you got to enjoy the minimal flow we had on the river. I liked it that way, you could get a good drift on your fly. Was more like river trout fishing rather than pond fishing.

Thanks Mike for the update.  Do you know if they have done any stocking at Albert Pike yet?  We really appreciate your posts and information on the river.

BIG thanks, Mike for the update!  It sure helps us out of town'ers to get your updates on river conditions.  You are very much appreciated.
It was good seeing you this past week.

Thanks for the river reports this past year, Mike.  You definitely saved us some frustrating travels. Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the favorable conditions in December. We have resolved to do better in '25 when river flows permit "old folks" wading.

Was advised that Albert Pike was stocked again the first week of December. Fish came from the Greers ferry national fish hatchery. Don't know what size they might have been since they didn't come from the Jim Henkley hatchery at the spring river.

As of 12:00 noon on the 31 of December, the bunger is still wide open. They haven't pull the lake down any since there is more water coming in from Langley than there is going out to Camden!!
