HEN

Sometime after 1:30 pm today fish were stocked on the lower Lil' Mo'. Guess that makes rumor #1 now true only a week late!!  This is the first stocking since 7 November, 39 days ago. I guess better late than never.

We have had two more inches of rain in the past 24 hours. The lake is at 539.87 and the Langley river gage has risen 2.87 feet to 7.07. That's a lot of water to come down. At the time of this writing the Corp is still running the bunger valve at 7% or approximately 263 CFS (thanks Robert). As the lake rises so does the chance the Corp will increase water releases past a fishable flow!!  The new fish were stocked on this minimum flow so they should hang around the stocking sites for a while if it continues.

Water temps are cold and clarity is cloudy due to the recent rains. Catch um while you can!!

Thanks for the info. Which sites are  stocked and can you wade in the river at 7% opening of the bungers?

HEN

Yesterday I caught a limit of trout at all 5 stocking stations, and then some!  There are some really nice 15 inch fish in this stocking. Yes you can Wade IN SOME PLACES at all 5 sites when bunger is running at 7%, just need to learn the river.

We are getting more rain as I post so watch for increased river flow and the water will be getting cloudy again. Fish are still running in a pack, as they do in the growing tanks, so you have to find them.

Oh! I take it from reading your thread from the 10th that as far as you know, AP has NOT been stocked this year, so far? Thanks!

edit: According to as best I could read the AGFC stocking schedule online (They left some labels out on their 2nd PDF entry), they were scheduled to stock about 1000 fish in December at AP. So, maybe they "probably" stocked there on the 16th?

I just called Game and Fish. According to the representative I got, AP HAS been stocked.
